Hello! Here is a listening activity based on the now famous speech that Barack Obama gave on November 7th to his campaign staff and volunteers. There are 32 words to find, I´ve selected the easiest to get for intermediate learners. This can be a good way to introduce a new teaching sequence about USA, black culture and civil rights. The speech is very emotional as Obama seems very honest and intimate in the video unlike the official speeches that he has to make for TV. I hope it´ll be useful to you and your students.
