Phonics - 3 letter words - Find and write
(1)Ss find and write 3-letter-words. (2)After they have found 3-letter-words that they know, they can try to "make" new words, and then check to see if they are really English words. If they are, they can learn the meaning. NOTE: Of course the second activity is no good for real beginners, unlike the first one. It is more of a "phonics" exercise then a "spelling" one, but can be used for both. Please see this phonics set list (link) for things to do before this exercise. Editable. A4 colour. Best used in colour, but black and grey would be OK. Have fun making words!
