These worksheets and activities are to practice the difference in long e and short i sound. To keep it simple I used ee words. These are meant to be the main activity and consolidation after pre-teaching the sounds. For pre teach I use a drilling activity for the pupils on the sound and the action. The first part is a treasure hunt. Post the word chests around the classroom children must locate them and then write the words in the correct column. The second worksheet is listening the students listening numbering the words as they hear them.
