In this task (Page 1) I deleted the vowels in the underlined phrases, and Ss have to fill them in. As a follow-up (Page 2) you can ask your Ss to put themselves in the shoes of the young man in the center, and imagine what his life might be like. They should write 250 words in first person (“I”). Page 3 contains the full description text.
