Vocab game places
Inspired by the game Dobble. Each card has four vocab word the students are using. There can be 2 or more players depending on the amount of cards printed. Each student gets a card. Students are required to say target sentence phrase before dealing an extra card in the middle, flipping their cards over and saying the vocabulary word that matches one of the words in their hand. First one to say the phrase and spot the matching vocab word gets the card. They place the new card on top of their own hand and continue on until they finish dealing the rest of the cards in the deck.
I used this for "I�m going to the _."
But it can also be used for the past tense
"I went to the _."
This is a rough draft, but it is my first attempt. I have used them in my classroom and the children loved it all the same.
