"Telecommuting: Disappearnce of Place"
A test I did for my 11th graders (7 years of English - C1 level) on the topic the world of work. 3 PAGES. After reading the text, students do 7 different exercises. 1st, they say who or what the words refer to in the text; 2nd, they choose the best meaning for each phrase; 3rd, they complete sentences with information from the text; 4th, they make a list of the advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting referred to by the author and 5th, they write a short paragraph linking the ideas in the list they wrote. 6th, they do a vocabulary exercise, completing a text on the topic with the given words.Last but not least, they rewrite some sentences without changing their meaning.
