Hollywood - a Dream Factory? (Jigsaw) Hollywood - a Dream Factory? (Jigsaw)

This is a jigsaw activity with four texts about Hollywood and a grid where students have to take notes. The activity is meant for students that are around lower intermediate level (EFL students in grade 7). They can find interesting aspects about stars, the Oscars or how films are made. The texts are short, so that there is sufficient time to hear what students consider important and about their personal attitude towards the topic. I recommend printing the grid as a transparency for each group or use one for the whole class. Solutions are added at the end of the document.
