Treasure Island Activity
Use this to revew/practice any number of targets or vaculary. There are two treasure island maps. Draw the blank grid and treasure island map on the whiteboard or on paper if you like. Form two teams and each team progress around the map from a starting point you may decide. They can only move to adjacent squares. In order to move they answer questions or identify flashcards. Award or deduct points for the various items they find. Dramatise this by actions or pictures to create the fun. For example, bottle tops for gold, hissing for snakes and whatever your imagination dictates. Play until one team has lost all points.
