My dream school
This is a creative communication exercise. Pupils draw their dream school within a frame and then describe it to a partner. They are given the beginnings of their sentences to get started. If your pupils donīt know all of the words they need for their work, they can ask you and you will tell them.
Another exercise is: questioning their partner about their dream school, using given (structures of) questions. The grammatical focus is on descriptive expression "there is..." / "there are..." My students liked it a lot - they loved to make their school a funny place, e.g. they built it on a cloud or it had a swimming pool on the top...
