School Helpers
After introducing key vocabulary (e.g. school staff and rooms) this worksheet is used for a scavenger hunt activity. Students record members of the school staff and where they expect them to be. (E.g. The principal in the principalīs office.) In a small group they go to the locations and record if the person was or was not there. Younger students will need an adult with them, while older responsible students can go in groups of 2 or 3. When they return to class they report back their findings to their peers. The larger group can hypothesis where staff, who were not found in their usual locations, may be and why. A great opportunity to repeat vocabulary in authentic contexts.
