Summer School Activities
I made this worksheet activity for my 2nd grade high school class. After completing the vocabulary matching task they read the short article. Ask them some questions about the content, then discuss the topic as a class.
Introduce and use examples to practice the new language of suggesting, agreeing, disagreeing and expressing preferences. The students work in groups of four and have to plan a weekend outdoor activities itinerary. They have to find activities which everyone can do together. If there is disagreement students should try express it in English. Allow 20+ minutes and monitor groups on their active participation.
