Winter Fun Gameboard (with Clip Art, Greyscale Version Included)(Part 3 of a Set of 4 Seasons Games)
Ideas for play:
Students use a die and tokens to move around the board. Every time they land on a picture they must name it, spell it and or use it in a sentence. Students may go around the board only once or go around and around until they have had a chance to name all the items on the board. In this case the winner could be the person who is the first to land on and name every picture on the board.

2.) boots/ rubber boots/ gumboots
3.) sweater/ turtleneck
4.) snowflake/ snow
5.) holly/ holly berries
6.) shovel/ snow shovel
7.) snowman
8.) wreath/ Christmas wreath
9.) coat
10.) bells
11.) snowman
12.) skiing/ skier
13.) Christmas tree/ tree
14.) hockey/ hockey player
15.) sled/ toboggan
16.) mittens
17.) Igloo
18.) snowman
19.) cocoa/ hot chocolate
20.) scarf
21.) hat/ cap/ * toque/ knit cap
*(I often use the word toque, but I believe that is considered a French word.)
Play will last a little longer if you use the snowmen as spaces to land on. You may also choose to have a person miss a turn when they land on a snowman.
