Grammar Hockey Board game 1/2
Hi everyone!
With this document, I want to share with you the results of a board game project I did with my 6th graders registered in the Intensive English programme this year. Let’s just say that I have been greatly impressed by their sense of creativity! So, a team of boys decided to create a board game about Hockey and here it is. I got permission from their parents to publish their game over the Internet and they could not believe me when I told them that people around the world would sooner or later play their game and actually learn English… They barely spoke English in the beginning of the year, so I had to change their original questions for the game with a few that I selected from some worksheets found on ESL Printables (YES! Some of you might recognise their work, so please apologise for not conceding rightful credits to the authors). However, I will grant authorship of this game to the four twelve-year-old boys who created it from scratch: Francis Messier, Samuel Guertin, Dany Boucher, and Philippe Beauregard from the “École Primaire St-Sacrement”, St-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada. Now, Thank you guys! I told you that you would be known worldwide!
