olympic bingo
Bingo combined with the idea of the olympic games. Olympic bingo is a speaking activity that requires students to perform tasks like arm wresting, jumping, comparing arm length, doing a reading or spelling contest etc. There are 17 tasks in total. the goal is to complete as many bingo lines as possible. 1 line equals a bronze medal, 2 lines a silver medal, 3 lines a gold medal. before doing the task students have to challenge his or her partner by saying "Iīm (strong)er than you."
A great activity, that was a great success in my class. be sure to monitor everything. If students donīt speak English properly give them a yellow/ red card followed with a push-up penalty.
