Advising a ski resort
This is a webquest that we devised with my highschool´s English assistant. It is adapted to students studying tourism.
The objective is to have the students find information on ski resorts from a website in order to find the most appropriate one for the customers. The first scenario is to be done in class (that´s why there´re two on the same page) while afterwards students work on their own on a different scenario.
You can then choose to have a roleplay: the student is the professional and introduces his choice to the teacher/a friend/ the class/ the English assistant OR you can, as I did this year, have them write an email and work on argumentation (you will find some keywords and advice on the first page of the teacher´s key).
