Song - I love my computer
Hello fellows!
I used this song as an Ice breaker, for English first class (2012)Here are some tips:
- First, ask about the news from the Internet users world; Then, ask about what is currently happening with the internet ( the prison Megauploadīs owner)ASK THEIR OPINION, in order to make a link with everyday life and reality, in order to create
interaction.
Discuss the studentsī relationship with their computer;
Then present the music as if it had a character ... create a scenario,a story ...
There are many ways to work the music vocabulary ... the "fill in" task is just one of them. Other examples:
You can ask students to complete the sentences on the blackboard;
Ask them to create a comic strip based on the music. They can do
on card stock or cardboard and paste in the classroom in order to recall as was cool and different their first English class.
