Vowel Song
As working with vowel sounds in ESL is kind of hard if the students are from South America, I used a song (I-E-A-I-A-I-O) from the band "System of a Down" to make them a little more aware of the sounds of the vowels and their respective phonetic representations. The teacher will have to explain the diphthongs before aplying the song, and also have students prepared to complete the tittle with the phonetic simbols and the other gaps with the respective letters. It also has many tongue twisters that might be used as a challenge, but are not the focus of the activity.Into the lyrics there might be some delicate words as "pussy" but, depending on the way the teacher aplies it, it could be easily used for any class. I hope I could help with it.
Oh, the first page is an answer key for how it should be completed.
See ya, and thank you.
