Paraphrasing game - animal cards II Paraphrasing game - animal cards II

This activity is based on an activity I`ve seen on a book named “Game on”. Students are divided in two groups and are given cards with words and a kind of description (kenning – a phrase that describes something without using its name). Students take it in turns to read the description to the other group. If the other group can guess the word, they get the card, if not, the card remains with the group who read it. The group with the most cards in the end of the game is the winner.
