comparisons - goes with the animal card game - supporting sentences
This contribution goes perfectly with the great animal card game.
I did that in my 6th grade. They loved it. This is how I did it:
Pairwork - Each pair gets 16 cards. Both students get 8 cards each. The two piles are upside down. Then each student picks one card from his/her pile. Student A starts and makes a sentence from the sheet. A doesnīt know which animal student B holds in his/her hand. If the chosen sentence is correct in terms of content, A gets the card. If itīs not correct,he/she has to give the card to B. Then both pick a card again and B forms a sentence,.. When a student has all the cards, he/she is the winner.This way they learn the comaprisons quite easy by doing it.
