Here is an example of what I use with some of my students as writing activity. As explained at the beginning of the activity, the text has the middle part missing, because the dog ate it. Students need to re-write the missing part. They need to stay on subject, use the same people as in the introduction and make sure the end of the story fits! The dog also as to come home because he is the one that eats the homework!
