Find the Frog Vocabulary Game for ANY vocabulary...
This is a game on which you can practice any vocabulary...To make the game you need to print out the three pages on card. Part 1: Cut slits into the dotted lines on the top of each of the boxes on page one. Next turn over page one and put glue everywhere except onto the 12 boxes with slits in them and stick a plain piece of card onto the back. The boxes with slits on top should now have become little pockets to put things in! Fold page 1 in half along the dotted line and stand up on the table like a birthday card. Part 2: You then need to cut out all the coloured frogs on page 2. Part 3: Cut out the four playing cards on page 3 and you are ready to play.
The rules...
This game is for four players.
Give each player one of the lilypad game cards (there should be a red card, a blue, a green and a purple card. Put the coloured Frogs randomly into the little pockets on the game board with only their crowns showing at of the top. Then using blue tack (or white tack or velcro) stick onto the front of the pockets pictures of the vocabulary you are trying to teach for example pets. Each player then asks "Is my frog behind...the dog?" then the next child finds the picture of the dog and pulls out the frog from behind it to see what colour it is. If it´s a red frog then the person with the red playing card gets the frog, a blue frog would go to the player with the blue playing card etc.
THE WINNER IS THE PLAYER WHO GETS ALL THREE FROGS ONTO THEIR LILYPAD!!!! Have Fun!
