Our City group map project
A project for 2-4 class members to complete. Students are provided with a poster board by the teacher and given an example on the board. Students can first draw in pencil and then color the map. This is a checklist of the requirements for the project. Page two is a writing activity to go with the map where students need to practice simple prepositions of location, writing addresses, and giving directions. When completed, students can present to the teacher for correction and rewrite for an activity where groups visit each otherīs cities and must follow their directions. Can also be used as a speaking activity where each group presents their city to the class. My students really really got into this.
