A good exercise for students to revise ‘there is / there are’, furniture, and prepositions of place (in, on, next to, under etc), as well as their speaking and listening skills. Instructions: Both students get their handouts and put a separator between them (eg. their bags, a file, etc) so that student B can’t see student A’s handout. Student B cuts the objects and then student A starts telling him/her where to place the furniture. The aim of this activity is for student B to have the same picture as student A in the end, with all objects placed correctly.
