HOUSE FLASHCARDS (with word cards)
Cut out the flashcards. 1) Point to the drawings on the board, mime for example: sleeping, and ask the class Where am I? When pupils reply say: Yes, I´m in the bedroom! Repeat for living room, bathroom, and kitchen. Point to each word and say it for pupils to repeat.
2) Make simple drawings of a bath, a cooker, a bed, a lamp... Ask Where is this? It´s in the (bathroom).
3) Stick the word cards on the board. Pupils should put their heads down on the desks. Remove one flashcard. Pupils tell you which flashcard is missing. Go on removing the rest of the flashcards.
4) Give each pupil a word card. Hold up one of the flashcards. Pupils who have the matching word must hold up their card.
