Neighbours (ordinals communicative game)
A communicative information-gap task for introducing and practicing ordinal numbers. Students take turns asking who lives on each floor, filling in the gaps according to the name given by their partner. There is a list of the names to help with spelling. Tip 1: a good warm up might be to ask them if they live in an apartment block, and which floor they live on. Also if they know their neighbours, if they would like to know them better, their names etc... Tip 2: Edit the names to make them the same as your students, also change the address to a place they know, such as your own city.
