How do I go to school - practising transport vocabulary (part 3 / 3)
• Cut out the white shapes on the “transport flashcards”. If there`s not a shape, then cut one of the windows.
• Cut and laminate the flashcards, if possible, put them on a kind of “supporting base” so that they can stand in the middle of the circle.
• In turns, students take the picture of the boy or the girl and put it through one of the holes in the flashcards, asking “How do I go to school?” ( they can also change the question, “How do I go to my house?” / “How do I go to Japan?”)
• The remaining students have to answer the question quickly (according to the flashcard), “You go to school by bus!”.
• Well, that idea was sort of adapted from a suggestion given by Yanki, an English Teacher in Turkey. I hope it`s useful!
In the previous 2 parts you`ll find more "transport flashcards" and the "boy" / "girl" pictures to play the game.
