Cars and driving
Students start the lesson by discussing the questions (on cars and driving) in pairs or groups depending on the size of the class. After the feedback, T shows the article and asks about the title eliciting the content. After reading the text T should go back to this question and elicit the answer. Then he or she presents the underlined words, Ss repeat them and either define them or give example sentences (checking comprehension).
If you want to practiseConditional sentences choose exercise 3(what would you do if), alternatively Ss can role-play the characters preparing a short ´play´. If you want to focus on the expressions connected to driving choose ex.4 - a role-play.
This lesson works better when you have more boys or men in the class or at least people with driver´s licence:).
