Weather Report Practice
Each student gets a city or prefecture. Have them create a name for themselves and decide the weather for tomorrow. Then have the students read the scriptwith their information.
Hello. I`īm ___________ from ________________. Tomorrow, it will be __________________ and _____________. How about________________? (Have them choose another city or prefecture here to get another student to stand and report.)
This will allow the students to practice listening, speaking and vocabulary. As the students give their weather report, have the other students listen and fill in the blanks for the areas on their sheets.
I made profile cards for the students so that all they had to do was fill in the weather. This was made for Japanese students and so the cards have a little Japanese on them. I could not attach them to this due to the size. I will upload them seperatly with the title: Weather Report Practice Profiles. You can download them or use my example to make your own.
