What time is it? Telling the time with digital and analog clocks worksheet
What time is it? Telling the time with digital and analog clocks
When I introduced the topic of telling the time to my beginner students (ages 9-11) I realized that they had great difficulties reading analog clocks. Therefoe I designed this worksheet which includes both digital and analog clocks and two different ways of telling the time all next to each other. The goal is that students make connections between these 4 different kinds of reading and telling time. ATTENTION: The 4 examples in one line refer to the same time!!!! Students have to fill in the missing parts.
INSTRUCTIONS: First discussion of example in class, then students try to work out exercises 1-7 individually or in partner/group work.
PS: Page 1 is the worksheet I used in my class. Page 2 is a blank (apart from the example) in which you can fill in whatever time you want to discuss with your students.
