Worlds Apart - Bruce Springsteen
A gap filling exercise using the lyrics of "Worlds Apart" plus a Questionnaire about Bruce Springsteen.
The song written soon after the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, lends itself to talking about the tragedy of September 11 but also about the meeting of "different cultures". It was recorded in collaboration with Asif Ali Khan, a musician and singer from Pakistan. Springsteen wanted to introduce a different sound to his audience in an attempt to prevent them blaming Islam for the attacks.
