When I started teaching many years ago I used a lot of Beatles songs. Then I stopped using them because they were considered to be old-fashioned. But now I have a young group of students who seem to be Beatles fans, they consider them to be retro and trendy and really enjoy listening to them. So I made these two exercises for students revising present simple. In the first they have to put the lines in the correct order. If you have time and energy to cut the lines, it´s more fun. There is a lot of repetition before the very last line. The second is a gap fill exercise but all the words are given in the base form. If you want to make it more challenging, you can delete the words. Have fun!
