Alanis Morriset - Ironic
This activity is a way I found quite effective to have students practicing some reading without even realizing it. Students are supposed to complete the gaps from the song before listening to it, which means they will have to use their reading skills to decide the words that best apply. The teacher should also encourage a chat about Murphy’s law before this activity. It will work as a warm up and will help students to perform the task.
