Cover me in Sunshine by Pink. Song activity
This is an activity to go with the song Cover me in Sunshine by Pink.The activity has two stages.
Stage 1, Students are given the paper with either the 1st or second column filled. They work impairs and describe the words to each other and fill in the empty column. Tell them to ignore the narrow columns for the time being.
Stage 2. Tell the students that some of the words come from a song. Play the song (with video if you like) and students have to use the narrow columns to tick off the words which they hear in the song.
The words not from the song are all from the Cambridge Flyers word list but I have used the activity successfully with higher levels too as the students set the level of the language used in the first stage of the activity,
