This is a simple worksheet to use if you have a 15 minutes slot. It can be used as an introduction to a lesson about the dangers of Internet / Facebook. The level is intermediate to advanced. The activity is quite motivating for pupils with difficulty though the vocabulary is quite rich. The pupils only have to recognize the beginning of the lines.
The objective : listening practice.
I have jumbled the lines of the 4 stanzas from the song.
Procedure : Students can first read the text and try to find the rhyming pairs of lines, and ask the teacher for vocabulary.
Then the teacher plays the music twice ( 1st time continuously and the second time, a stanza or a pair of lines at a time).
The answer key is :
Stanza 1 : 3,1,6,7,4,5,2,8
Stanza 2 : 10, 13, 14, 15, 9, 12, 11,16
Stanza 3 : 22, 18, 23, 17, 19, 24, 20, 21
