Show and Tell Show and Tell

Kids have to chose something that is meaningful to them. Preferably, an object they can bring in class. They have to describe it (Simple Present), tell how they got it (Simple Past Ex.: My mother gave it to me last year) and finally, they have to explain why this object is so important for them. I use it as a writing task as well as a speaking task.
