Building Paragraphs
This is a good worksheet because it presents the learners with an opportunity to practice and improve a number of important skills. First, they get reading practice by reading the text. Second, they develop interactional and communication skills by working in pairs. Third, they get to us a dictionary (if required). Fourth, they learn new lexis in the context of forest life. Fifth, and most importantly, they are exposed to terminology associated with building paragraphs. Also, the learners learn to analyze a text in order locate the relevant information. As a side activity, teachers could ask students to write paragraphs on a topic of their choice that include the four aspects highlighted in the worksheet.
