Descriptive Essay Assignment
This assignment calls for students to write a 5 paragraph descriptive essay using sensory images and transitions. Students can choose to describe a place, person, object, or experience they have had, as long as they do so in great detail. Since I require students to use at least three transitions, I also provide a "transition bank" on the second page. This assignment can be made longer or shorter, depending on what works for your students. Enjoy!
