This is a handout I use to help give students an overview of formal letter writing. Itīs divided into 3 pages, the first page gives a layout guide and a style guide, the second gives more detailed guides for particular letters (cover letters, letters of enquiry and letters of complaint) and the final page gives an example letter the students should correct.
