I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

Moving On: two versions of the worksheet with answer key
I included two versions of the worksheet, believing that page 1 is more suitable for online classes than page 2. The answer key can easily be adapted to make it into a written assignment.

Read! Spell! Do! playing cards (an extra 30 cards) Adverbs and Adjectives 5
Notice the change in the Spell cards which can take on the endings ier and iest. I ran out of suitable single syllable adjectives. You will need the playing board, which is here: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=463371#this#. The cards can be used independently of the board. Print 2 sets and play matching games, have reading races, m...

3 pages of Phonic Comics with ey: worksheet, comic dialogue and key (#31)
Hi, There are 3 of my worksheets today. This story/dialogue is one of my favourites as it is based on facts. My young son "Jonathan" (ignoring my warning) ran in front of a car and had his leg broken. My students love rolling on the floor shouting "My leg! My leg! My leg!" It is possible that this worksheet will take me past the 5000 point mark ...

Dealing with Countries (Get a Country) 3-4 of 6 (with backs)
This is the last. If you missed the others then go to my account and select "newest first". These took a while to design. I havent yet printed out cards for myself, but Im confident that it is a worthwhile game and will probably make it available commercially. Of course you get it for free. If you see any major errors like a wrong flag or someth...

Lost in Sydney: directions and prepositions with answer key and extras.
The focus is on the prepositions and directions with a side target of prepositions of movement in sports. Students should have some knowledge of prepositions and directions before attempting this worksheet. I have added a couple of spoilers into the word banks. Pages 3 and 4 can be used as part of a correspondence course if need be.

Simple Present Game Cards 1-8 of 40
The game is called "Get a Present" and I will tell you a little about it each day and put all the info together in the end. The cards do take time to make so do be patient; as if I am. You can see by the question marks that each card has only one question. John. Does Jane study English every day? There are three possible answers. 1. Yes, she do...

I spy occupations poster 2 and new criss cross worksheet: words and pictures
I was surprised at how many comments and downloads the first one (http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=451098#thetop) recieved, so I guess you like it. Here is another, the last I suspect as it takes an age to do and I doubt I can think up another set of job titles. Many more occupations in this poster. Make small groups and give each gro...
