Making Christmas Cookies
This exercise includes a real recipe for sugar cookies. The children go through the list of supplies and ingredients, match them up with the photos, and then fill in the verbs in the cooking instructions. I play to download another brief simple present exercise to support this one, so if you liked it check again in a day or so.

Colorful Alphabet Sounds
This is a great activity to introduce or review the alphabet with children of all ages. The class stays focused for the entire lesson and really tunes in to the different vowel sounds in each letter of the alphabet. When finished, the children can keep the sheet in a convenient place to use for further reference.
