Running dictation
Put the text somewhere outside of the classroom. Students have to run there, remember as much as possible and run back and copy the text into their books. They have to run until they have copied the whole text.

Running dictation
This is a very nice activity for beginners. You cut out the singe sentences and post them on the wall at different spots in class.
The students then have to copy the sentences onto a Piece of paper but they are not allowed to take the paper with them. Thus, they have to remember the sentences (and their structure)!
