Irregular Verb Training - Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate - Worksheet for Adult Learners
Thoroughly test students knowledge of irregular verbs. For in-class test or homework. Or you can have two teams of students, you dictate a sentence and they have to put the past or present perfect version on the board. Sure its not the most ingenious way of practising grammar but most students actually like it. Its like brain training! I have an...

Irregular Verb Drills 1
Good old-fashioned verb drills to help students master verb conjuations (past simple and present perfect). Can be used for homework, or I often do them as a ten-minute filler around the class orally (really makes them concentrate!!!).
Ive categorized it as "intermediate" but I reckon a good pre-intermediate class could cope with it too.

Conversation: ALL ABOUT ME! First Class Questionnaire
I know questionnaires for a first class are totally unoriginal, very passe but I always find that they work a treat. Really encourage your students to converse rather than just give quick answers. Tip one: get them to write the answers first (can be in note form) but then get them to ask them orally. So, when the class is finished you can borrow t...

Possessive Adjectives and Possessive Pronouns (Adult Learners)
A worksheet for Adult Students.
Although this is regarded as a basic grammar point students still get them wrong at higher levels (for example, they often say "a friend of me" or they add an apostrophe to "its". So Ive made an intermediate version (ie, using higher level vocabulary). This should drill them thoroughly. (Key Included)
