Earth Day 3Rï¿½s Craft
This is part one of two. I explain and demonstrate how to make a 3 Rï¿½s (resuse, recycle, and reduce) craft. We do this during Earth Day. We use some old card board and make a door hanger that says, "Lights Out." This demonstrates the 3 rï¿½s and reminds them to reduce use of power at home.

I use this with my honors class. It is with the Scholastic Reader, Amelia Bedelia, Teach Us. It is funny, so the student interest stays high. The students also learn the dual meaning of words, due to their use in a sentence. In addition they learn some English sayings.
