A useful worksheet to let pupils practise writing dates. The standard British conventions are respected. Pupils use their own school diaries to find the days of the week. This is an up to date version of a WS by beritboeckmann. It may be helpful to use my calendar handout beforehand.

Fun things to do before the summer.
A list of ideas for fun activities to do now that the days are getting longer. My lesson plan is included. Pupils should work in groups to decide which are their favourite ideas and then plan a fictional fun weekend. The end product should be plenty of speaking practise and oral presentations of their planned weekend.
