Describe it!
This is a game called "Describe it". Each student takes one card and tries to explain the word without saying the 3 words below. The student who guesses the word, takes the card. Whoever gets more cards, wins.
I have made only 2 pages, but you can add more vocabulary depending on what you want to stress in your class.

Intonation patterns - RIO (2011) + adjectives (upper int)
I adapted this from an activity on suprasegmental features. It deals with intonation patterns in conversational English. SS first watch a video for gist, then read and listen again to get the right intonation. There are some colloquialisms so you can work on this too. I have added an activity on adjectives (some complicated ones).
