End of the year letter
I have the students write a letter to next year students. It is a great assessment of their writing ability. I also make each student read their letter to the class. Then the following year when I pass them out, the students use a dictionary to try and find out what their friends were telling them.

Flip it down
This is completely editable, you just change the six words. Then the students roll the dice and say the word. If they say it correctly they get to cover the word. First student to have all the words covered wins the game. This is played in small groups and all you need is a worksheet and die.
