mystery celebrity sheets
I divide the class into groups then I give out these sheets with biography elements. The groups ask questions to find out the other groups celebritites. they practise simple past questions because theyre all dead celebrities.
I generally put flashcards on the board with the celebrities pictures to help them.

I needed it for my pupils and I thought ...

reading comprehension about a musical school
a document I found in vocable and I prepared the questions. It starts with a discovery of the document then the pupils are asked to go a bit further in their understanding (and to get methods in doing so). Finally, there are 2 exercises to check they have understood.
At some point, I give some vocabulary and its in French.

Talking about your family - family album 1
The pupils pretend this is their family album and they introduce their "family" to a partner/a group or the class. They need some time to prepare what theyre going to say but they cant write : its a talking exercise (not a reading one).
