I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

Yy Picture Covers: An exercise in phonics with answer key and cumulative notes.
It was difficult to come up with vocabulary for this one, so it has a few nonsense words. It also has "Yank tank", which is Southern Hemisphere English, that speaks of old, solid, American cars. The chant is /y/, /y/. A yo-yo. (x2). While pretending to play with, or actually playing with, a yo-yo.

Yy Picture Covers: An exercise in phonics with answer key and cumulative notes.
This is the final worksheet in this series, unless someone requests, in the comments, me to make more. More being /ch/, /sh/, /wh/ and /th/. The chant is /z/, /z/. Zipping up my jacket. While zipping up, and down again, your jacket, real or imagined.
