Interview Ice-Breaker Worksheet
This is something I�ve used on the first day of a class with all new students. To break the ice and to get the students to know one another we do this activity. Just a simple partner listening exercise to practice the initial /r/ consonant sound and the initial /w/ consonant sound. There is a set of words for student A and another set of words for student B. I use it in my pronunciation class. Enjoy!

A partner exercise to contrast the beginning /r/ sound with the beginning /w/ side. There is a sheet for student A and a sheet for student B. Both students take turns reading their words to each other while the other tries to listen for the one word that is different from the others.
