End of the year lesson plan
This is the lesson I taught at the end of the year. I adjoining power point has already been uploaded on eslprintables.

End of the year letter
I have the students write a letter to next year students. It is a great assessment of their writing ability. I also make each student read their letter to the class. Then the following year when I pass them out, the students use a dictionary to try and find out what their friends were telling them.

Flip it down
This is completely editable, you just change the six words. Then the students roll the dice and say the word. If they say it correctly they get to cover the word. First student to have all the words covered wins the game. This is played in small groups and all you need is a worksheet and die.

I use this unit plan to teach a science honors class. These students were gifted in science, but not English. So I used text about science (leaning tower of pisa, thomas edison, engineering, etc) to enhance and motivate their English language learning.

I use this with my honors class. It is with the Scholastic Reader, Amelia Bedelia, Teach Us. It is funny, so the student interest stays high. The students also learn the dual meaning of words, due to their use in a sentence. In addition they learn some English sayings.

Earth Day 3 R�s Part 2
This is part 2 of a craft I do with the students around Earth Day. They make a door hanger out of recycled cardboard. It says, "Lights Out" to encourage reduce use of electricity at home.

Earth Day 3R�s Craft
This is part one of two. I explain and demonstrate how to make a 3 R�s (resuse, recycle, and reduce) craft. We do this during Earth Day. We use some old card board and make a door hanger that says, "Lights Out." This demonstrates the 3 r�s and reminds them to reduce use of power at home.
